Rosanna Rossi says:

All you ass holes that have the balls to talk shit about Wayne Gretzky
shame on you.

TheSeattlehawk94 says:

Wayne might not have the greatest all around player or the best at any one
skill set, still doesn’t take away the fact he was the Babe Ruth of hockey.
His records dwarfed everyone else’s and most will never be touched unless
they overhaul the game completely.

Unknown One says:

Gretzky was an awesome player and fun to watch. I’m a die hard Flames fan
and loved watching the battle of Alberta in the 80’s. When we use to play
on the streets, i would make sure i would tell other kids that i was number
99 Wayne Gretzky.

chris nankivell says:

bow down to the greatest…nobody will ever top his records he’s the
all-time leading scorer just with his passes= 1963 ohh and add 894 goals
and ain’t no…but if Bobby Orr…if Mario Lemieux with all due respect IF
doesn’t prove shit. Wayne’s the proof period

Rob A says:

Thank you Wayne for being the best ambassador to Hockey that anyone could
ever ask for. Weather you like it or not you still are the face of
Hocky. And thank you for putting So Cal on the map.

Mat Strangemann says:

The Great One! Go Canada!!!

Nicholas Aniol says:

He is in the hockey hall of fame

Cheyenne Geer says:

Lmao yes he was a puck hog but he is the greatest of all time 893 goals and
over 1500 assists I dont see anybody breaking that record anytime soon.
Simply the greatest player to ever play in the nhl

Dave Rhodes says:

Puck hog. LMAO!

HockeyIsLife985 says:

My Father brought me a bunch of vintage gear from around his time.

Eddie CJ says:

Always will be THE GREAT ONE, OH Canada!

jonny morris says:

Technically Britain invented hockey we are just bad at it

Assad Latif says:

I’m a BIG Wayne Gretzky fan ➕I’m a Oilers fan

Tim Ratliff says:

The miracle on ice is what got me interested in hockey but it was Gretzky
that made a true fan of the game. May not sound like much but when you
grow up in a place that rarely see snow/ice and most people never even
heard of hockey I believe it to be a great and major impact. Thank you
Wayne.

Sgt Beastie says:

My idol

Norlink says:

I take my Jofa helm off for him!

75jeremiah says:

My hat’s off to Wayne.

Mike C says:

I feel blessed and honored that The Great One” played for my Rangers with
Messier and retired with us being his last team. I just wish we won the cup
with him but the rest of the team overall wasn’t put together right except
for the 96-97 season but not as good as the Flyers were

nhlgretzfan says:

If you wanna know what a class act this guy is all you have to do is look
at what “battered” him over his career? “Gretzky has been battered by
trouble and loss. An olympic team failure, a gambling scandal, and the
deaths of both his mother and grandmother.” In his only olympic
performance the captaincy was given to a younger player whose NHL career
turned into a dog and pony show disaster. He was benched in favor of
younger players at crucial points of the game including a shootout. A
gambling scandal that he had absolutely nothing to do with other than his
wife betting on sports other than hockey. Those actually involved, a NHL
coach and a police officer, were indicted and prosecuted by authorities.
The federal investigation revealed betting on professional sports
EXCLUDING hockey and the NHL. And if those two incidents aren’t ridiculous
enough lets throw in that the man lost a mother and grandmother. Thanks
for the memories Wayne, I wish you still played.
