Slough Jets under 18s junior ice hockey team played an away game at Cardiff when they met up with the Devils on their second meet of the season after the Slough rink had closed for refurbishment. Played on the 27 November 2016 and with limited practice due to the lack of ice the game still went Slough’s way with a win of 6 -3

Junior Ice hockey is as much as a contact sport as it’s adult games. Videos of the junior games are sometimes just as fast and as serious as the puck moves across the rink. How it works is the two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a vulcanized rubber puck into their opponent’s net to score points. Ice hockey teams usually consist of six players on the ice at one time each, one netminder and five players who skate up and down the ice trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team.
