Your cats have so much sarcasm
Mind. BLOWN. Thank you so much for this video.
Love this. Makes me miss derbs. Sacred City Por Vida!!
Derby Looney Toons?
True. And I cover that in the second, more detailed video which is linked a
tthe end of this one.
There is no requirement for the “soul crushed” jammer to chase the jammer
even one lap back to re-enter the pack. She can simply stand stationary and
wait for the jammer who blocked her out to return to the same lap they
started together on. The only risk is if the pack advances and does catch
the “soul-crushed” jammer and captures her within the pack. However, this
risk can be mitigated if the “soul crushed” jammer has her blockers take
the front and capture the jammer who put her out.
more more more…make more more more!
So…what’s this called? Red jammer knocks green jammer out of bounds. Red
jammer skates clockwise as fast as she can, forcing green jammer to skate
clockwise. As they get about 40′ away from the pack, green blockers rush
forward to try to force the red jammer into a -1 lap position. Red jammer
collides with a green blocker at a combined speed of 50 mph, making a sound
like a sonic boom and throwing the jammer backwards 20 feet in the air
before bouncing twice. It should have a cool name.
There are other strategy videos here on my channel. But if you want more
sooner, come catch me at one of the boot camps I’ll be at. I’ll be at Beat
Me Halfway Thanksgiving weekend in Missouri and in late October I’ll be at
Sk8 Heaven in Northampton, UK. (2013)
