Holy crap. I’ve seen rather a lot of derby documentaries (occupational
hazard), and only a very few of them are good. This is most decidedly one
of the few. What a gorgeous film! Terrific choice by the filmmaker to
forego narration… the imagery needs no help. Nicely done.
old rules video
The rules changed just before the date this was published. For example,
there is no longer a 2 whistle start. I do understand that the matches are
not within current rules but maybe that should be pointed out for
