Ahhh Ice hockey, the only sport where you can commit assault and not get
arrested. In rugby you would get red carded and be banned for weeks.

If this happened more often I might actually watch hockey. Until then it

So all of the players were pretty much out, with like 4 people on each
bench…what do you do then?
Just eject players who fight, issue fines and suspensions. Finally ban them
from hockey. And their team forfeits the game. That would stop this BS. I
played hockey in college and love the game. But I like a clean game. I am
in favor of replay to catch the penalties the refs miss too.
That’s what I call pleasing the audiences. 🙂 :)

Sigh…fighting in the NHL just isn’t the same without mullets.
This is why Hockey will end up overtaking football. There is too much pussy
in Football and Basketball. When football players are selling penalties you
know the league is in decline.

fighting like this should have no place ice hockey. As a boxing enthusiast
the “fighting” here is pure garbage (being on ice skates makes it 10 times

Pickin up from the “Broad Street Bullies” days. I was little when i saw
this game, but i won’t deny that this game was just great. Every person on
both benches fought that game. Part of the reason I love the flyers is
because of all the fights, hits, and trash talking holds a great part of
hockey history. Hextall made this just a lovely part of the Flyers heart in
fights :)
