@kjo14 A lot of these players play professional ice hockey in the minor
leagues too. A lot of ECHL, CHL, IHL and even AHL players like to play in
the RHI during the off season. Good way to stay in shape and keep your
hands going.

From what I’ve heard/seen it seems players that start out with roller
hockey have better puck handling skills and offensive skills while ice
players are better defensively and a lot stronger. Just some things I’ve
seen playing ice and roller hockey as a goalie for a few years. I don’t
know how consistent that is around the country is though

and 90s pre lockout where full of them. I don’t think I have seen one in
years and I seriously dont think you know what you are talking about. Pre
lockout hockey if you know anything was tougher to play period. Now
brushing someone is called. Backiin the day I recall hacking clubbings
crosschecks spearing where a regular part of the game not to mention bench
clearing brawels.

roller and ice, and I like them both the same.roller takes as much skill as

Rollar Hockey is not a better game than ice Hockey. It is not faster and
certainly is not better. You might like to believe that but no way. I will
say that the game has evolved and the quality of play is better but to say
it is faster, Um no I played Minor League Ice Hockey back in the day when
it was really tough the early 1980s. Hockey was a lot tougher then. Todays
game is much more gentle and loving lol makes me sick to see how soft the
game has become. Thank God I never played like a wimp
