The bitches screaming and yelling are annoying
I play inline, but that’s because at the moment I have no healthcare
(thanks America) but ice is harder than inline in tue sence that there’s
still collisions in roller (because it’s gonna happen it is hockey after
all and guys are moving fast) but in ice they’re actually trying to check
you and honestly that’s what makes ice “harder” yes at high levels in both
you’re going to have guys with great skill, but learning to check while
skating is a lot more difficult than some people realize (of course there
are exceptions to everything some people just get somethings naturally) so
they’re basically the same sport but in ice it adds that extra difficulty
with learning to give and receive checks, but that’s the only difference
West Covina is like the worst rink in SoCal

Maybe learning to skate in gerneral is easier but learning to stop on
inline and skate smoothly is harder. It was a lot easier to learn to stop
and change directions on a dime and make clean crossovers and stuff on ice
than it is on inline surface. Ive seen guys who are awesome at ice hockey
get dangled and made look stupid playing inline and vise versa.. its just a
complete different style of hockey.

i never said inline was easy. i said its easier than ice and easy to learn.
sure you still need a lot of natural skill to play at a high level but it
still not as hard as ice. literally everyone that i know that plays both,
and i know quite a bit, say that ice is a harder sport to play. inline
skates do most of the work for you. with ice skates you have to do all of
the work. ive played both. inline is a lot of fun. its great hockey. but
ice is still harder and takes more skill.

regardless of overall difficulty anyway.. if you’re playing in a elite
league with elite players it’s not gonna be “easy” thats what a lot of
people who talk shit about inline dont realize. They say how easy it is. I
would love to see them go out and play in a league with good players and
watch them get dangled and laughed at.
I played competitive inline and ice hockey my entire life, It’s not easier
it’s just a different style, no hitting. I’ve played at NARCH and played in
a league with a lot of guys who play at that level. Any average player will
go out there and get dangled out of their jock strap and made look stupid
playing at that level. If you play inline with high caliber competition
it’s good hockey. Just like ice, you cant expect to play in a beer league
and it be good hockey.
